Wallrock

  • £11995

Wallrock Thermal Liner KV600 | 100cm x 15m

Our thickest, most effective thermal liner. At 600gsm (approx. 4mm thick), Wallrock KV600 helps rooms warm up faster, hold their heat for longer and cost less to heat. It's recommended by The Energy Saving Trust and ideal for cold solid brick walls, north-facing rooms and problem areas.

It also covers and reinforces tired, cracked plaster, plasterboard, blockwork and wood panelling, and helps reduce condensation, in many cases eliminating it.

Why choose KV600?

  • Reduces room warm-up times
  • Significant energy savings
  • Covers damaged, cracked and textured surfaces
  • Resists mould for a healthier home
  • Helps reduce condensation
  • Reduces noise transmission
  • Allows your walls to breathe
  • Contains no PVC or fibreglass
  • Smooth surface, ready to paint

Roll size 100cm wide x 15m long
Coverage Approx. 15m² per roll
Application Paste-the-wall
Substrate Non-woven / polyester
Finish Flat. Can be painted directly

How much do I need?

Multiply wall width x height to get the area in m², then add about 10% for trimming. Each roll covers about 15m².

Example: a 4m x 2.4m wall is 9.6m², so 1 roll of KV600 will do it.

Is KV600 the right grade for me?

  • KV600 (approx. 4mm): best for cold solid brick walls, north-facing rooms and problem areas.
  • Wallrock Thermal Liner 450 (approx. 3mm): a great all-rounder for most rooms.

How to hang it, in 5 steps

  1. Make sure walls are clean, dry and sound. Fill any large holes.
  2. Prime with Primer & Sealer and let it dry.
  3. Paste the wall (not the liner) with Wallrock Thermal Liner Adhesive.
  4. Hang the liner, butting the edges together, and smooth it out.
  5. Leave for at least 24 hours, then paint or wallpaper over it.

For the perfect finish

KV600 can be painted directly. For a flawless finish, or if you want to hang decorative wallpaper on top, cross-line with Wallrock Fibreliner (avoid standard lining papers). Then finish with two coats of our Eco Friendly Paints. They're low odour, great coverage, and we can colour match too.

Good to know

  • Damp walls: thermal liners aren't designed for walls that let damp through. If that's an issue, apply Wallrock Dampstop Thermic with Dampstop Thermic Adhesive first, then the KV600.
  • Fire rating: KV600 is Class E. It's a localised 'problem solver' for cold external walls. It isn't recommended for fire escape routes, such as hallways, landings and stairwells, unless finished with a fire-retardant covering such as Wallrock Fireliner (fire rated Class 0), hung with Wallrock Fireliner Adhesive. It also isn't suitable for new builds and extensions where Building Regulations apply.
