Victory Colours Colour matching

Paint Colour Matching Service

Victory Colours

  • £5400

Send us the colour and we will match it. A chip of old paint, a tile, a fabric, a brand's shade name, or a BS or RAL reference — we mix it fresh in our own eco paint within 3-5 working days, at no extra cost over our standard colours.

Most paint companies can only match a name from a database. We match the actual thing you send us.

What we can match:

  • A piece of the existing paint — a flake, a chip, or a patch on wood or card
  • A discontinued colour from any brand, past or present
  • A named shade or code from another manufacturer
  • BS 4800, RAL and NCS references
  • A fabric, a tile, a piece of wallpaper, a length of trim

What we cannot work from is a photograph or a screen. Cameras and monitors shift colour, and a match made from an image will not hold in the room. Post us the object.

Available in Matt Emulsion, Kitchen & Bathroom Emulsion, Interior and Exterior Wood & Metal Eggshell, and Masonry. Same prices as our standard colours. Same paint: vegan, VOC free, British made.

  1. Choose the quantity and finish from the drop-down menu and click 'Add to Cart'.
  2. Enter the colour reference in the box marked 'Special Instructions for Seller'.
  3. Add your contact details, in case we need to check anything with you.
  4. Complete the customer information and shipping pages, and make payment.

If you are sending a physical sample, post it to us and we will start as soon as it arrives. We confirm the details with you before mixing anything.

Our matches are excellent, but a match is never a photocopy. Finish, sheen and the light in your room all change how a colour reads — a matt version of a silk colour will look slightly different, and that is physics rather than a mistake. If you are matching paint that has been on a wall for years, bear in mind that we are matching what it is now, not what it was.

Because every tin is mixed to order, we cannot accept returns on colour-matched paint unless it is faulty.

• Stir thoroughly before use
• Surfaces should be clean, dry and sound
• Touch dry in around 2 hours
• Re-coat after approximately 4 hours
• Clean brushes and rollers with warm soapy water

For best results we recommend using a premium quality medium pile roller and synthetic paint brushes.
