A closer look

This pretty floral design is a reinforced, tough and durable wallpaper specially designed for heavy traffic rooms such as the hallway, living room and kitchen and is ideal for covering slight plastering imperfections.

The Anaglypta Supaglypta range is manufactured using a unique and traditional process which combines an embossed textile layer with a layer of durable, high quality, pure paper, with zero PVC or vinyl. This produces a tough, enduring, yet beautiful wallpaper which are authentically vintage chic.

The wallpaper comes in white for a classic look but can easily be painted any colour of your choice to create the desired effect, the current penchant for deeper hues makes a strong, modern, design statement.

The roll

Every roll is sent from the same batch, so the pattern matches across your walls. Order everything you need in one go — a later roll may come from a different batch.

Hanging it

Start plumb, not from the corner. Walls are never square. Mark a true vertical a paper's width from the corner and hang the first length to that line.
Cut with the repeat in mind. Lay the lengths out and line the pattern up before you cut, allowing a little extra top and bottom. The repeat and the match are in the table above.
Paste the paper. Paste evenly right to the edges, fold it paste-to-paste and let it soak for the time on the adhesive before you hang it.
Smooth from the middle out. Brush from the centre towards each edge to push the air out, butt the seams rather than overlapping them, and trim top and bottom with a sharp blade.

You will need adhesive Roughly 1kg of ready-mixed paste per roll for a standard paper — see the whole range, including the heavy-duty one for textured papers

Use a good quality adhesive suitable for heavyweight papers, we particularly recommend 'ready mixed' adhesives for ease of use and good bond strength, such as Anaglypta Ready Mixed Adhesive.

Recommended Paints

Try Victory Colours Eco Paint to complete your interior design project. Anaglypta looks great in white but comes alive when painted. We reckon Anaglypta Alexander would look gorgeous painted in a blush pink like Blusher or an earthy green like Novara Green.
