A closer look

This is such a pretty wallpaper which would look equally super in a hallway or in a girl's bedroom. Vintage chic from Anaglypta.

Anaglypta Original Hamnett RD393 uses only pure paper (no vinyl or PVC) to create a high quality duplex wallpaper. This means that during the manufacturing process two layers of high quality pure paper are combined, and embossed using high temperatures and pressure, to ensure outstanding levels of pattern definition. This traditional process produces an enduring, hard wearing, beautiful, embossed wallpaper for many years of outstanding decor.

The wallpaper comes in white for a classic look but can easily be painted any colour of your choice to create the desired effect. In fact this paper comes alive with paint which can totally transforms your interior design project.

The roll

Every roll is sent from the same batch, so the pattern matches across your walls. Order everything you need in one go — a later roll may come from a different batch.

Width (m) Height (m)

Hanging it

Start plumb, not from the corner. Walls are never square. Mark a true vertical a paper's width from the corner and hang the first length to that line.
Cut with the repeat in mind. Lay the lengths out and line the pattern up before you cut, allowing a little extra top and bottom. The repeat and the match are in the table above.
Paste the paper. Paste evenly right to the edges, fold it paste-to-paste and let it soak for the time on the adhesive before you hang it.
Smooth from the middle out. Brush from the centre towards each edge to push the air out, butt the seams rather than overlapping them, and trim top and bottom with a sharp blade.

You will need adhesive Roughly 1kg of ready-mixed paste per roll for a standard paper — see the whole range, including the heavy-duty one for textured papers
