HOOPLA WALLS

Seaweed Garden Spice

Submerged tangled plants entwine and criss-cross to create graceful movement and waves on the wall.

Eden Vol 1 Seaweed Garden Spice wallpaper by Hoopla Walls, an orange leaf design

A closer look

A feast of foliage and seaweed heads, this illustrated design is a beautiful interpretation of John Dearle’s design for William Morris.

Product Code HWA1109W Roll Size 10m x 0.5m (L x W) Vertical Repeat 50cm/19.7in Pattern Match STRAIGHT Paper Type Non-Woven Hanging Method

Hanging it

  1. Start plumb, not from the corner. Walls are never square. Mark a true vertical a paper's width from the corner and hang the first length to that line.
  2. Cut with the repeat in mind. Lay the lengths out and line the pattern up before you cut, allowing a little extra top and bottom. The repeat and the match are in the table above.
  3. Paste the paper. Paste evenly right to the edges, fold it paste-to-paste and let it soak for the time on the adhesive before you hang it.
  4. Smooth from the middle out. Brush from the centre towards each edge to push the air out, butt the seams rather than overlapping them, and trim top and bottom with a sharp blade.
You will need adhesive Roughly 1kg of ready-mixed paste per roll for a standard paper — see the whole range, including the heavy-duty one for textured papers Wallrock Easy Paste We recommend Easy Paste From £8.95
